As part of the Settimana della Cucina Italiana, held annually in November, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona in collaboration with the Consulate of Italy reissues ‘Italy with Taste’ a gastronomic tour stopping at 15 Italian restaurants in Barcelona.
From November 16 to 24, the restaurants have prepared 15 special menus for the route that, on this occasion, seek to represent the Le Marche region, one of the main Italian pantries for gourmet products such as truffles, certain sausages or some pastas.
Thus the 15 Italian restaurants will create 15 special dishes that they will only serve for one month. The participants are: Xemei, Menudo Pau, Punta, Gravin, Can Sardi, Le Cucine Mandarosso, Raffaelli, Algrano Bistró, Casa Maestro, La Bottega, Ostaia, Galú, Bocca di Bonifacio, Santo Porcello and Cecconi’s.
To name a few proposals, Max Colombo of Xemei proposes the Zuppa di cicerchie, a tasty and comforting chickpea soup, Raffaelli proposes another delicious traditional option, the Brodetto Marchigiano with the famous Olive ascolane and Ostaia opts for the succulence of a rabbit dish, the Coniglio in Porchetta con Olive Taggiasche e Parmentier di Patata alla maggiorana.
