The 23rd edition of the Primavera Sound 2025 festival is about to happen. Festival-goers with a full festival ticket or day ticket are getting ready for three dizzying days, with a line-up of 214 acts spread over 14 stages during three intense days. The Parc del Fòrum site is already preparing for what is to come on the main days (June 5 to 7). And the timetables have just been published to start making the definitive sketch, the bobbin lacework of this “matrioshka” festival that is Primavera Sound.
We say “matrioshka” because in this festival there is a world of festivals. Elaborating this own calendar is the most complicated and the most exciting: each attendee of Primavera Sound puts together his own festival. So that you don’t get lost, we are going to tell you all the relevant information, the schedules by days, the free opening party, the closing party on Sunday, means of transport… Let’s go!

What’s new in the line-up
We were few and… the line-up of Primavera Sound 2025 has been extended! The festival announces, just a couple of weeks before the festival, new names in the line up with the performances of Jules Reidy (Friday 6th June, 22:00, The Levi’s Warehouse stage), Nick León (Saturday 7th June, 20:20, Plenitude by Nitsa stage) and Wolf Alice (Friday 6th June, 19:35, Estrella Damm stage).
In recent days there have also been some casualties, such as Sturgill Simpson, who will not be able to perform due to unforeseen schedule changes and Yasmin Williams, who has canceled his entire tour including this expected performance. As already announced days ago, the band Clairo will also be unable to attend due to logistical problems. To these cancellations we can add the fateful news of the death of Ekuka Morris Sirikiti, whose performance at Primavera Sound Barcelona would have meant the first of his career outside his country.
Timetable and line-up of Primavera Sound 2025
Check the timetable of Primavera Sound 2025 here. The first note of the main days of Primavera Sound will be set by Moritz Von Oswald: Silencio and Ultralágrima; and will be crowned with Sandwell District, DJ Masda, Sherelle and the DJ set of Danny L Harle, who will officially close the festival with the last session of the early morning on the Cupra stage until 6.00am.
Only those who have lived it will understand the magic of finding, little by little, more clarity. Until you see how the sun is waking up, brushing the Mediterranean, throwing its rays … and people dancing, guided by the reeds (we do not know why but it is already a tradition at this point of the festival).
To download the schedules you have several options: create your own model from what you’ll find on the Primavera Sound website; do it directly from the App of the festival (be careful with your cell phone battery) which this year has a new system in collaboration with TrainLine: you can customize your schedule and download it from the Primavera Sound App.
Map of the site of Primavera Sound 2025
A picture is worth a thousand words. Memorize the map: this is where the magic happens. A tip: choose a meeting point with your friends. Although there are several marked throughout the venue, it is usually easier to meet at a specific food stand, in a quieter area between stages… In this edition the beach area is eliminated, the one that reached almost to Badalona. We will walk less, we will enjoy more. Another novelty: this year there will be no concerts in intimate format in the Auditori, moving them to the Apolo and Paral.Lel 62.
Auditori goes to Sala Apolo and Paral-lel 62
This year we will say goodbye to the Auditori, a space dedicated to the most intimate concerts (we remember with the hair standing on end that Swans live show). But the festival will not dispense with the encapsulated and indoor format but will move it to two locations well known by the locals: the Apolo and Paral-lel 62.
To access the Auditori goes to Sala Apolo & Paral-lel 62 concerts it will be necessary to have a free pre-booking through the AccessTicket app (and it will only be available to those who have their day ticket or season ticket).
The concerts are as follows: Moritz Von Oswald: Silence, Kali Malone, Yasmin Williams, Red Stamp, Cat Power sings Dylan, Julie Byrne, Sporadic Music, Destroyer, Maria Somerville, Salif Keita. And as for the schedules, fully compatible with the three main days of the Forum.
How to enjoy Primavera Sound for free?
Primavera Sound will offer in this edition a series of 22 free concerts in the CCCB (in the context of Primavera Pro) as well as a free opening party (until full capacity) in the Parc del Fòrum. It will be on Wednesday, June 4, and you can still get your free ticket. They will perform: Llum (17.35h), Hinds (18.40h), La Casa Azul (20:10h) and Caribou (at 21.45h).
How to access the Opening Day?
To access the concerts on Wednesday June 4 at the Parc del Fòrum if you do not have a season ticket, it will be necessary to make a deposit of 15 euros returnable: you can do it through the App AccessTicket. If you make this reservation and attend the event, the 15 € will be returned automatically and as soon as possible. If you do not attend, it will not be returned and will go to non-profit projects. Minors will be able to attend this inaugural event (minors up to 15 years old, accompanied by a legal guardian) and all must come with a previous reservation. Minors between 16 and 17 will need a reservation but may be unaccompanied. Attendees who have a season ticket or day ticket must follow exactly the same reservation process to access the Inaugural Day.
22 free concerts at the CCCB
On June 4, 5 and 6, another venue in the city will become another appendix of the festival. The CCCB will host in its courtyard 22 concerts (curated by Primavera Pro) with the aim of “testing the state of the industry and its near future”. You won’t need a ticket or an invitation reservation in advance: just come and enjoy.
Free activities open to the public
Primavera Pro is the professional arm of the Primavera Sound festival. That is, the meeting of the main players in the music industry who reflect on the future of the industry and share knowledge and wisdom. It is also the opportunity to enjoy some of its activities, as three of them are free, without prior reservation until full capacity is reached. All three will take place at the Auditori of the CCCB.
On June 5 at 6.15 pm will take place the talk “Dramas, brilliance and great songs: pop as a script for Mariliendre“. The protagonist of the new series of “Los Javis”, Blanca Martínez Rodrigo, the musical directors Pablo Lluch and Vic Mirallas, will talk with Llum (moderator) to analyze how pop music and its iconic hymns are part of an emotional language that connect as well as relate what happens in the fictions.
On the 6th at 3.30 pm, it will be the turn of the podcast Sabor a Queer, which will record a live episode with an audience. David Velduque will change his red diner for the Auditori where he will chat with María Escarmiento and Carmen Picado about queer music, virality, desire, visibility… in this new episode entitled ” Queer artists: between authenticity and strategy”.
To top it off, that same day at 5pm, Carlota Cosials and Ana Perrote (i.e. the band Hinds) will talk with Jack Coyne (Track Star) about Viva Hinds, the album that saw them reborn and that works as a declaration of intentions of these two women who sing of friendship, freedom and creative energy.
