The Tibidabo Amusement Park opens, as every year, its Christmas program, which will be available until January 5.
And as every year, one of the stars of the program is its ice rink, which allows skating with the best views of the city. But in addition, the park brings a whole giant tree program of novelties and shows to make your Christmas in the mountains as attractive as every year.
We tell you all the news of Christmas in Tibidabo 2024 so you do not miss anything.
A giant Christmas tree and a sustainable ice rink: all the news.
- Giant Christmas tree: For the first time, Tibidabo has installed an imposing 10-meter-high Christmas tree in the panoramic area, giving a warm welcome to visitors.
- Sustainable ice rink: The 200 m² synthetic ice rink returns to the Plaça dels Somnis, one of the great attractions of the season. With capacity for 40 people, the rink, made of sustainable materials that require no water or energy consumption, faithfully recreates the experience of ice skating.
- This year, as a novelty, the Tibidabo ice rink will offer daily the dance show ‘The Nutcracker on Ice’, an artistic adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s work.
Access to the rink is included with the entrance to the park, although it is also possible to enjoy it independently with a ticket of 5 euros.
Christmas show program for all audiences
Apart from the rink and the tree, the Christmas program at Tibidabo includes new proposals for the whole family:
- In the Dididado, the park’s 4D cinema, the film “Sleigh Ride”, which shows the work of Santa Claus and his helpers on the night of December 24, will be screened throughout the season.
- Starting November 30, the Marionetarium will be transformed with a show combining music, snow and stars.
For thrill-seekers, Hotel 666 will once again be home to Krampus, the dreaded Christmas character who will be in action from December 21.
Tradition and solidarity days
This Christmas, Tibidabo also brings back its traditional Christmas days:
- On December 14 and 15, the 10th edition of the Tibidavis will be held, offering free access to seniors over 60 accompanied by up to two children.
- On December 27, the Cançó de Pau will take place, an emblematic solidarity event that this year reaches its 27th edition.
