“It’s tiiiime!” (as Mariah Carey would sing). It’s already November—time to say goodbye to panellets and start thinking about turrón. In addition to culinary traditions, one of our favorite Christmas traditions is Christmas markets and fairs, and starting November 26, Barcelona will host one of the most comprehensive: Nadal a Westfield. This initiative will transform the area outside the Westfield La Maquinista shopping center into a Christmas park featuring inflatable attractions, an ice rink, and other activities. Admission to the venue will be free, and tickets for the various activities go on sale November 10, but if you want to get them before anyone else, you can already sign up for the waitlist.

Everything We Can Do at Nadal a Westfield
The big new feature of the 2026–27 edition of Nadal a Westfield (which will be open until January 10) is Funbox. It’s the world’s largest inflatable park, with 4,000 m² of jumps, obstacles, and adventures. A general admission ticket grants access to the park for 80 minutes and is suitable for all ages—fun knows no age limits!

Another major highlight is the ice rink—the largest in the city. Open to all ages, it’s a Christmas classic that’s a must-have at this fair.
Want to enjoy Barcelona from above? Then a visit to the 30-meter Ferris wheel—the star attraction of the fair—is a must. It will also feature:
- Christmas Spinner—for nonstop rides up and down.
- Jumping: an attraction where you can jump, do flips, and spin in the air.
- A Christmas tree where the little ones can climb up and enjoy a ride amid lights, spins, and colors.
- Christmas Train: the holiday version of the classic “Witch’s Train,” without any scares but with plenty of magic and surprises for all ages.
- Ice slide: the winter version of the classic slides found at water parks.

Nadal a Westfield will also feature Christmas stalls where you can buy crafts, decorative items, or fashion accessories—whether as gifts for others or as a treat for yourself. There will also be food stalls offering sweet and savory treats such as freshly made churros, roasted chestnuts, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Admission to the park and the stalls will be free, while tickets or passes will be required for the various activities. After signing up for the waiting list, you’ll receive all the information about prices and schedules.
