7 euros to cross from Barcelona to Seville by train. This is the proposal of Superprices the promotion launched by Renfe to celebrate the introduction of the S-106, its new trains.
For this reason, on Friday, May 26, the company puts on sale cheap tickets at 7 euros to travel from May 21 to July 21, with more than 70,000 promotional seats in the connection of Zaragoza with Madrid and Barcelona and in those of Madrid with Alicante and Valencia.
The debut of the S-106s means a significant increase of 14,410 seats on Avlo services, starting May 21, from the current 49,530 seats to an offer of 63,940 seats each week on Avlo services on the various connections between Madrid, Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia and Murcia. This represents an increase of 28% over the current offer. The S-106 trains to be used consist of 12 cars with a capacity of 507/581 seats and offer passengers better performance than the current Avlo.
In this way, the incorporation of the S-106 trains in Catalonia will mean an increase in the number of seats for Avlo services on the Barcelona-Madrid route, from the current 24,400 seats to 28,450, with a 17% increase in the weekly offer. On the other hand, for these Avlo services, a new stop in each direction is established in Lleida and Camp de Tarragona.
In the case of AVE trains, these new trains have touch screens in all seats and comfort spaces (with 2+2 seating arrangement) and standard or tourist (3+2) and cafeteria service is available. Avlo does not have a cafeteria, but is equipped with vending machines for beverages. The seating arrangement is 3+2, with a greater number of seats. The S-106 trains are accessible, and have spaces for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and adapted toilets.
