Barcelona’s most vibrant gastronomic festival returns this fall with a new edition full of flavors, creativity and local artisan talent. This autumn edition will be held on November 1 and 2 at the Moll de la Fusta, a waterfront enclave that will welcome more than 15,000 visitors with a unique proposal: quality gastronomy, contemporary crafts and urban culture.
Which restaurants are participating?
There will be a careful selection of street food from the best restaurants in the city: the neo-traditional cuisine of Bar Canyí, the Asian combinations of Mantis, the raclettes and bikinis with artisanal cheeses of Can Luc, the seasonal dishes of Bar Pimentel or the Japanese snacks of Fry House. Completing the line-up are La Focacceria Balmesina, Warike, Tandoor, Two Patties and Bien Kebab.
Craft beers from Garage Beer and La Pirata, along with Lost Vines wines and Yzaguirre vermouth, will be the perfect companions of a round gastronomic experience. In the sweet section, highlights include Sucre Cremat’s Catalan creams, Morreig’s puff pastries and Tonka’s vegan sweets, ideal to accompany Nomad Coffee’s specialty coffee.
Artisan market, workshops and courses around food
The festival will also offer gastronomic workshops and a round table on conscious consumption with names such as Rafa Peña (Gresca), Alexis Peñalver (La Pubilla), Carla Gili (Olis Anècdota) and Daniele Rossi (Slow Food, Rasoterra). Among the workshops, there will be a coffee tasting with The Cupping Club, a curry plant based with Anjalina Chugani or non-alcoholic cocktails with Lagom Somm, among others.
The little ones will be able to enjoy the Mammaproof free play area and children’s workshops such as Arrela’t (growing vegetables inside a pumpkin), Bon Aprofit (preparing vegetable broths) or the classic Swiss Cheese workshops, which also return this year with its mythical tasting of Swiss cheeses.
The heart of the festival will once again be its market of artisans and gastronomic entrepreneurs, where you can discover local projects that are committed to sustainability and innovation: from sausages and artisanal preserves to culinary ceramics or signature utensils. Among the novelties, highlights include the imperfect fruit preserves of Es Im-perfect, the spices of Kondimenta, the handmade ceramics of La Magrana or the illustrated recipes of Gala Pont. Classics such as Encantarán with its dried tomatoes, Pallarès Solsona with its knives or the sausages of La Gleva also repeat.
The music will set the rhythm with sessions by Sonido Tupinamba, Golfo de Guinea and, for the first time, DJ Gee Lane, who will fill the Moll de la Fusta with the unmistakable spirit of All Those.
