Barcelona will become Seville for a few days. Starting this Friday, April 24, Andalusian culture will gather around the Parc del Fòrum to celebrate the Feria de Abril de Catalunya from April 24 to May 3.
Ten days during which Barcelona’s waterfront will feature booths with music and dancing, as well as flamenco dresses and southern cuisine, in what is now the 53rd edition of this fair.
Today, this event serves as a gathering place for the Andalusian community living in Catalonia, but also for any Barcelona resident who wants to discover or reconnect with this tradition.
Program for the April Fair of Catalonia
The program will feature live performances, folk shows, and stalls serving traditional Andalusian cuisine. There will be attractions for children and a Sevillanas dance area.
Admission will be free for the entire 10 days of the event.
