More than 800,000 visitors have already enjoyed Balloon Story in cities like New York and Australia… and now it’s coming to Spain for the first time, making its debut in Barcelona—a city where immersive experiences are very well received—and has chosen an iconic location: Espacio Inmersa (in Poblenou), known for hosting innovative large-scale exhibitions suitable for all ages.
A colorful spherical adventure
Balloon Story will divide the Espacio Inmersa into different life-size scenes that will showcase instantly recognizable moments for attendees. From prehistoric scenes to a space journey, including ancient civilizations, a jungle, the ocean floor, famous monuments (such as the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower), and much more.
What’s unprecedented is how these scenes will be constructed—with nearly 600,000 biodegradable balloons! Imagine seeing a dinosaur, a giant octopus, or a rocket made up of hundreds of colored spheres , all set against a backdrop (ceilings and walls) that’s also bursting with color and a very cartoonish aesthetic.
