The secrets of the Blaugrana locker room, revealed
Located inside the Barça Museum itself (and just a few steps from the stadium), Barça Virtual Dream uses virtual reality in a novel and creative way. It’s neither a video game nor an immersive room; what awaits us is a virtual tour that brings us closer to fun secrets and trivia about Barça.
Can you imagine what’s inside the lockers in the Spotify Camp Nou locker room? In this experience, you’ll be able to open them and find out. How does a Barça player feel when he steps onto the field? You’ll be able to experience that, too—once you put on the headset, you’ll become one of them.
Barça Virtual Dream has a futuristic aesthetic that imagines Barça in the distant future. For example, we’ll see Spotify Camp Nou exactly as it will look after the renovation currently underway.
During our journey, we’ll interact with a friendly robot and other elements and characters. And unlike other experiences, where participants’ avatars are generic, here they’ll be FC Barcelona players: you’ll be able to run into current players like Lamine Yamal or Aitana Bonnmatí, or true legends from every era—from Johan Cruyff to Sergio Busquets, including icons from the ’90s Dream Team like Romario and José Mari Bakero.
The difference is that these avatars will be your family, friends, and everyone else currently in Barça Virtual Dream— who will be hiding behind Hristo Stoichkov’s avatar?
