Summer nights in Barcelona are beautiful and that’s why from today until September 14, a different way to live it: the Barcelona Night Tour, the night version of the popular Bus Turístic that the locals should reappropriate.
Every night, at 21:30, a double-decker bus with no roof leaves from Plaça de Catalunya to tour the main icons of the city, from the Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló to the monument to Colom, the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, Montjuïc or the Glòries tower. All without getting off, without stops, and with the views that only the night offers.
Unlike the daytime service, the Barcelona Night Tour does not allow you to get on and off freely. Here the experience is continuous: a guided tour of about 100 minutes with personalized explanations in Catalan, Spanish and English, by official guides of Turisme de Barcelona. What you lose in flexibility, you gain in calm, narrative and a lit skyline that seems designed for Instagram.
The tour is not new: this summer celebrates its 17th edition. Since 2006 it has established itself as one of the few reference night tourist services in Europe.
