This June 13, a mysterious Reloj tower in the center of Barcelona will be open to the public for one night only. It will be thanks to the ‘Nit de la Música’ will offer a varied program of artists in the Historic Building of the UB, where visitors who come can climb the tower that crowns this building of the nineteenth century.
During this “Nit de Música” will be interpreted from ancient polyphony to jazz and electronic composition, through classical music and ‘lied’. From 6 p.m. to midnight, attendees will be able to enjoy performances in different areas of the Historic Building of the UB, such as the Paraninfo, the Aula Magna and the Escala de Honor of the Rectorate.
In addition, guided tours of the Reloj tower will be offered throughout the event, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with prior registration on the day of the event
This year, the event will feature the participation of the Jam Session Music School, which joins the groups present in the first edition, such as the Orchestra of the University of Barcelona (OUB), the Schola Cantorum Universitaria Barcinonensis, the Orchestra UB and the Choir of the Faculty of Philology of Communication. Groups from ESMUC, the Liceo Conservatory Foundation, the Taller de Músics and the Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation will also participate.
