The K-Pop craze is here to stay: fans from all over the world follow Korean talent shows, learn choreographies and even study the language to be able to sing each song with the right pronunciation and knowledge (not in vain, according to the Modern Language Association, Korean is one of the fastest growing languages in the world). So thank you, K-Pop, for so much! Culture, language, knowledge, twinning… and, of course, stratospheric concerts, fun and entertainment.
Barcelona, as an avant-garde city where everything happens before other cities, has also received this impact. And it will explode, as the cultural hornet’s nest that it is, on February 7 at the Palau Sant Jordi: K-pop superstars ATEEZ will give their only concert in Spain here, as part of the new 12-date European tour they have just announced.
ATEEZ are on the crest of the K-pop wave right now: they just broke all records on their recent US tour, being the first male K-pop group to perform at Coachella last April and filling stadiums like BMO Stadium in Los Angeles or Citi Field in New York. Among the long list of successes, it stands out having been number 1 in the Billboard 200 list with the album The World EP.FIN: WILL.
