A new drone show is coming to Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum on July 17: DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™. It’s something you’ve never seen before: a tribute to the fantasy film series featuring drones that recreate iconic moments accompanied by music you’ll surely recognize. What is the DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™?
The show will be divided into two acts that will pay tribute to some of the most famous moments from the franchise’s eight films. The ones “performing” these scenes will be 1,200 drones forming beautiful figures. And to round out the experience, pieces from the original soundtrack will play.
The show aims to make attendees an active part of the experience (whether they’re wizards, witches, or Muggles). That’s why everyone will receive an LED bracelet with their ticket that will sync in real time with what’s happening on stage. They’ll light up at key moments, such as when the colors of the four Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff) are revealed, and much more.
DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ is a spin-off of the acclaimed DroneArt Show, a drone and classical music spectacle that has already been a hit in many cities around the globe, including Barcelona. The technology behind this immersive show comes from NovaSky Stories, also known for Grace for the World, the historic 2025 concert at the Vatican that brought together great singers such as Andrea Bocelli and Karol G while the sky above St. Peter’s Square lit up with beautiful figures created by drones.
