Passengers flying from Terminal 2 at Barcelona-El Prat airport have a little-known resource that allows them to reduce waiting times at the security checkpoint. It is an access located in Terminal C, practically in disuse and with a minimal flow of travelers.
The procedure is simple: from Terminal 2, users must go to the intercity bus area and continue walking until they reach Terminal C. Once there, escalators lead directly to a security checkpoint where there are hardly any queues, making this point an alternative for those looking to save time before boarding.
This access is especially useful during peak periods, when queues at the usual checkpoints can last for more than half an hour. Although Terminal C is not the busiest, it has all the security guarantees and connects with the rest of the boarding areas in Terminal 2.
