This fall, mystery and magic have an unmissable date on the calendar. The heart of the old quarter of Ripoll hosts, once again, its popular Esotèric Shopping Night and Witches Fair, an event that has established itself as one of the most important in the sector in Catalonia. During the 24th, 25th and 26th of October, the streets of the town of Girona will be transformed into an epicenter of mysticism and ancestral activities.
Considered one of the most important esoteric fairs in the peninsula, this year’s edition will feature more than 100 specialized stands. Professionals of tarot, astrology, clairvoyance and alternative therapies such as reiki or numerology will gather to offer their services to visitors seeking answers or energy healing.
The fair is not just a market, but an immersive experience. The program includes a variety of traveling shows, witches’ dances and rituals that will last well into the night. One of the most anticipated moments will be the “Ritual de la Bèstia”, a fire and percussion ceremony performed by the Diables de Ripoll, in addition to other celebrations such as the traditional queimadas.
To complete the experience, the popular “Witch Train” will offer tours of the area, making this event the perfect plan to immerse yourself in the most magical season of the year.
Esotericism until the wee hours of the morning
For those who already want to make a note in the calendar, the schedules of the Esotèric Shopping Night are designed to live the magic at night. The Ripoll center will open its doors on Friday, October 24 at 5:00 pm and the fair will not close until midnight.
On Saturday 25, the day will begin at 10:00 h and will run until 1:00 am, consolidating as the main night of the event. Finally, on Sunday 26, the market will be open from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm.
