The FIBA Basketball Champions League is entering its final stretch: AEK BC (Greece) and Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania) will face off for the title. For the first time, the tournament final will be played in Catalonia, specifically at the Palau Municipal d’Esports in Badalona (home of Asisa Joventut), this Saturday, May 9. Everything you need to know about the BCL Final Four
After falling in the semifinal matchups on Thursday, May 7, the two ACB teams (Unicaja and La Laguna Tenerife) with a shot at the title will have to settle for third and fourth place. In contrast, fortune has smiled on the foreign teams: AEK BC of Athens (which hopes to repeat the title it won in 2018) and Rytas Vilnius, which, if it wins, would make its debut as the competition’s champion.
