Barcelona will host a day of outdoor music next Sunday, April 26, to mark International Jazz Day.
The section of Passeig de Gràcia between Gran Via and Plaça de Catalunya will serve as the venue for a major concert series for the third consecutive year, as part of the three-year celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the Barcelona Jazz Festival.

This year’s lineup will consist of six consecutive concerts. The series will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a performance by the Sunset Rhythm Kings, a traditional sextet.
Later, at 1:45 p.m., the duo Quiet Colors will take the stage alongside guest artists such as Andrea Motis, Thana Alexa, and Aleix Tobias.
The afternoon block will kick off at 3:30 p.m. with a performance by Glenda from E Q-ban Mixology. Following this session, at 5:15 p.m., there will be a concert by the trio led by vocalist Laura Simó and pianist Ignasi Terraza.
The music will continue starting at 7:00 p.m. with artist Momi Maiga, who will perform his repertoire on the kora, a traditional African string instrument.
The event will conclude at 8:45 p.m. with La Vella Dixieland Big Reunion, a large ensemble featuring Irene Reig, Joan Mar Sauqué, and Josep Traver.
