This is the story of Grupo Firme, a Mexican band and true pioneers of norteño music who, after touring their own continent, are coming to Europe to bring us their party. La Primera Europeda, as their new tour is called, will stop in Barcelona on September 26 at the Olímpic in Badalona. A great party among friends

Grupo Firme was formed in Tijuana in 2014 by Eduin Caz, Jairo Corrales, and Joaquín Ruiz. They started out as a group of friends who played the music they liked and uploaded it to YouTube. And this down-to-earth approach has been their hallmark and the reason for their success, taking them in just over a decade from posting covers online to filling the biggest stadiums in Latin America and winning a prestigious Latin Grammy Award (Best Banda Music Album in 2021 for *Nos Divertimos Logrando Lo Imposible*—the title says it all).

Their live shows are powerful, fun, and carefree—they even drink alcohol on stage (the “Europeda” name isn’t just for show)—and, above all, they interact with their devoted audience, who sing along to their songs at the top of their lungs.

During their stop in Barcelona as part of La Primera Europeda, they’ll perform their greatest hits, such as “Ya Supérame,” “El Tóxico,” “En Tu Perra Vida,” and “Cada Quien.” Some of these songs feature high-profile guest artists —will we see any special guests at the Olímpic concert?

With this tour, they’re bringing their full-scale party to Europe for the first time, after triumphing in Colombia with their previous tour and setting the record as the first Mexican artists to perform 11 concerts at the Estadio GNP Seguros (one of Mexico’s largest venues).
