Barcelona is getting ready for a very special weekend: from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August, the Moll de la Fusta will be filled with music, culture and solidarity on the occasion of the days prior to the departure of the humanitarian flotilla to the Gaza Strip.
The days, prior to one of the largest humanitarian actions in history, are gaining more and more weight, and now several important artists have announced their participation in support of the cause.
Macaco, Morad or Clara Peya will perform for free at the Moll de la Fusta.

Among the artists taking part will be Macaco, Morad and Clara Peya, along with bands such as Tribade, Muerdo, 3dnan and Lobo Solitario, and Palestinian artists such as Marwan, Sol Band, Althroode, Sofree, Makimakkuky and Sama Abdulhad.
In addition to the concerts, the space will host talks and political-cultural activities organized in collaboration with the Coalició Prou Complicitat amb Israel (CPCI), the Palestinian Community, Sanitarios y Juristas por Palestina and other entities working to raise awareness of the situation in Gaza and channel humanitarian aid.
A historic flotilla to Gaza
On Sunday, dozens of ships are scheduled to set sail from Barcelona with hundreds of activists from 44 countries, in what organizers describe as the “largest humanitarian mission in history”.
The ships will carry food, water and medical supplies to address the humanitarian blockade of the Gaza Strip, in an initiative coordinated by the Global Sumud Flotilla, making the city the epicenter of a movement that unites music, culture and solidarity, before the ships set sail for one of the most serious humanitarian conflicts in the world.
