The renowned Malaga chef Dani Garcia, one of the most awarded chefs in the country, is about to land for the first time in Barcelona with one of the many restaurants of his group.
This is Leña, his most successful and award-winning restaurant concept, which will open at the end of the year at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona 5*. A steakhouse where everything revolves around embers and fire and which already has branches in Marbella (2020), Madrid (2021) and Dubai (2023).
The experience, a luxury meal (the average ticket at the Madrid restaurant is around €100), will offer up to seven different cuts of meat, Dani García ‘s iconic hamburger (version of the one he served at his former three-star Michelin restaurant), internationally inspired dishes, grilled vegetables and classic recipes executed with high precision.
No further details are yet known about the menu, the location (LEÑA in Marbella was awarded “most beautiful restaurant in the world” in 2021) or the proposal, so we will have to wait and see what Dani García’s landing in Barcelona is like.
Dani García, one of the youngest chefs at the time to win a Michelin star, is one of the Spanish benchmarks in the gastronomy business. Currently, his group has 24 restaurants in 6 countries, including the United States and some in the Middle East.
