For all those fans of animation, Mundo Pixar arrives in Barcelona on September 26th. An experience with more than 3,000 square meters in the outdoor parking lot of the Westfield LaMaquinista Shopping Center, divided into thirteen spaces with the most emblematic Pixar scenarios such as UP, Monsters, S.A., Coco and Cars. Next fall, Barcelona is preparing to receive a dose of magic and nostalgia with the arrival of the largest immersive experience to date dedicated to the renowned company. The fantasy worlds created by Pixar have already captivated more than 600,000 visitors in Madrid and now, it will be Barcelona’s turn.
What to expect in Mundo Pixar
Immerse yourself in Mundo Pixar will be, literally, to be part of the most iconic scenarios of our childhood on a large scale. That is, enter the underwater world of Finding Nemo or become, on a toy scale, Andy’s room from Toy Story.
Whether it’s the gastronomic universe of Ratatouille, the charming Mexican village of Coco, or the workshops of Cars, each scenario will hide the most unexpected details about those movies we grew up with and that still captivate new generations today.
In addition, there are also stages dedicated to the most recent films by Pixar like Lucía, Elemental o Del Revés, which share the more than 3000 square meters of La Maquinista with classics such as Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. y UP.
Mundo Pixar is an experience designed to immerse every member of the family in the studio’s fantasy worlds. Life-size reproductions of sets compose a journey from 1995’s Toy Story to Elemental, released in 2023, with 3D characters and objects for absolute immersion.
La Maquinista will become for a few months in the fantasy of our childhood, where we can walk through the scenarios of our favorite Pixar characters.
