
Pizza is going through a sweet moment in Barcelona. There are more and more bakeries, wood-fired ovens and pizzaiolos who understand this dish as a craft. And now, finally, they have their big party. From May 26 to June 2, Pizza Week Spain Edition 2025 will be held throughout Spain, a week dedicated to quality pizza that will bring together some of the best ovens in the country. And yes, Barcelona is on the map.
The initiative was born from 50 Top Pizza, the world’s most influential guide in the sector, and comes from the hand of Mammafiore, its partner in this second national edition. In total, 45 addresses from all over Spain will participate in this pizza route: 31 independent pizzerias selected by the guide plus eight artisan pizza chains, all united under the same slogan: to vindicate pizza as a first-class gastronomic product.

Which pizzerias in Barcelona participate?
In Barcelona and Catalunya a total of 11 pizzerias are participating.
In Barcelona: Frankie Gallo Cha Cha Cha Cha, Gina Balmesina Pizza Bar, La Balmesina, Punta, Sartoria Panatieri, TRAFALGAR.
In the rest of Catalonia: Cruel Pizza – Pineda de Mar (Barcelona), Gasparic – Girona, Marghe 1889 – Lloret de Mar (Girona), Maximmus Pizza – Sabadell (Barcelona), Mecànic Pizza – Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona).
Program of activities
We bring together all the activities of each pizzeria that you can celebrate at Pizza Week.
- Gina Balmesina (May 26 and 29): Tasting menu with natural wine pairing Partida Creus. Collaboration with the master pizza maker Massimo Morbi and the winemaker Francesco Cerutti.36 € (21 € without drink).
- NAP (May 26 – June 2): Throughout the week offers a special pizza with Calabrian products, created together with Vittorio Cicero (Compà-Panini of Calabria), including live music and live painting with Fiorella Quaranta on the 29th.
- Pummarola (May 26): Limited edition pizza created with chef Arnau Paris and pizza maker Fabio Vastarella, acrobatic show with Tacho, prizes during the day and final draw for a trip + dinner in Eivissa. Special pizza: 9 €.
- Punta (May 26 – June 2): Every day the guest chef changes to make a tasting menu(Paolo Romano, Matteo Spinelli, Daniele del Gaudio, Lorenzo Sirabella, Marco Araimo, Ciro Pecoraro). 5-course dinner: starter, 3 pizza flavors and dessert with José Romero Barranco + Lot Roasters, paired with wines, beers or cocktails. Variable price (35-65 €). Some evenings include live music or DJ.
- Sartoria Panatieri (May 26 – June 2): Solidarity dessert: Rocacao sweet pizza, created with Jordi Roca (El Celler de Can Roca). Proceeds will go to the Fundación Poco Frecuente, for research into rare diseases.
- Da Michele (May 28): Surprise pizza with the executive chef present.
- Da Nanni (May 29): New special pizza created by Italian chef Roberto di Pinto.
- Frankie Gallo Cha Cha Cha Cha (May 30): 8th anniversary party with music, pizza and drinks.
- Trafalgar (May 29): Tasting menu with cocktails, created together with pizza chef Andrea Ena (Bratislava).
