83 fines per day, 30,567 in almost a year. These are the figures for the most penalizing speed camera in Barcelona, located at number 563 Avenida Meridiana.
Data from the Barcelona City Council, obtained exclusively by El Periódico, also reveal that the B-20 Ronda de Dalt speed camera, at kilometer point 14.343, is the second most “fining” with 26,872 sanctions. In third place is the device located on Via Augusta, number 331, with a total of 20,016 infractions recorded.
Other points in the city that also stand out for the high number of fines imposed on drivers exceeding the speed limits are Avenida Diagonal, at number 671, where 18,336 fines have been issued, while on the B-10 Ronda Litoral, at PK 7.095, the number rises to 12,778.
