Eating dirty at a festival is over. Or at least halfway. For years now festivals have been trying to dignify their gastronomic proposal, but it had not happened yet that a whole restaurant, with tablecloths and a menu designed by the chefs, among others, of the best restaurant in the world, was installed with a tasting menu at a festival like the Primavera Sound.
We are talking about La Terrassa d’Estrella Damm – The restaurant and, which will be available from 4 to 8 June, coinciding with the big days of the festival, and will present a tasting menu with tapas, including Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, Mateu Casañas and Nil Dulcet, from the restaurant COMPARTIR or Nandu Jubany, among others.
A tasting menu for €45 with concerts on view
The restaurant will have three daily shifts (8 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.), seating for 160 people per shift, and a closed menu at 45 euros, accessible to anyone with a festival ticket. The chefs who have designed the menu are Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, Mateu Casañas and Nil Dulcet, from the restaurant COMPARTIR, Nandu Jubany and Artur Martínez (Aürt).
The menu starts off strong: bou de mar with avocado cream by the chefs of Compartir, the legendary Iberian ham croquette by Nandu Jubany and an original Korean bikini created for the occasion by Artur Martínez. In addition, there will be a choice of a second course and desserts, all paired with Estrella Damm, official sponsor of the festival and host of the space.
Reservations are already open and can be made through the official Primavera Sound app.
