If one thing is clear at this point, it’s that the stage is too small for Rosalía. The premiere of her ‘Lux Tour’ at the LDLC Arena in Lyon wasn’t your typical concert, but rather a veritable moving museum piece lasting nearly two hours. With a stage production more reminiscent of an opera than a stadium show, the artist from Sant Esteve Sesrovires once again left the world speechless and, above all, gave a glimpse of what’s to come at her concerts in Barcelona this week.
The visual spectacle was mind-blowing: from dancing on pointe evoking the sculptures of Degas to projecting the lyrics translated into French in real time so that no one would miss a single detail of her narrative. Accompanied by ten dancers from the collective (La) Horde and a live orchestra, the artist skillfully balanced the elegance of a grand piano under a golden rain with the power of a techno finale that shook the venue to its foundations.
We still don’t know who will join her on stage in Barcelona or which celebrity will visit her confessional, but after the premiere in Lyon, we do know one thing: which songs the artist will perform on the Lux Tour 2026.
