Cycling Solidari will bring together 113 cyclists who will pedal in unison at Moll de la Marina to raise funds for brain disease research and cycle the stages of the 2026 Tour de France in Catalonia.
On Saturday, March 28, the Moll de la Marina will host Cycling Solidari, an outdoor cycling session where participants can simulate the first three stages of the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France Barcelona.
Registration costs €10, and the entire amount will go to research on brain diseases at the Institut de Recerca de l’Hospital del Mar.
How to register
The Institut Barcelona Esports (IBE) has prepared two ways to participate at Moll de la Marina:
- Individual: 113 stationary bikes distributed over 6 45-minute sessions; each session recreates a specific stage of the Tour.
- Team endurance: Groups of 2 to 6 people share a bike for 6 consecutive hours to accumulate as many kilometers as possible; there are 30 bikes available for this modality.
In both cases, a giant screen will project the actual video of each stage to reproduce the visual experience of the route.
The stages are scheduled as follows:
- 1st 8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Stage 3: Granollers – Les Angles
- 2nd 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Stage 2: Tarragona – Barcelona
- 3rd 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Stage 1: Barcelona Time Trial
- 4th 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Stage 3: Granollers – Les Angles
- 5th 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Stage 2: Tarragona – Barcelona
- 6th 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Stage 1: Barcelona Time Trial
All registrants will receive a yellow jersey from the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France Barcelona as a gift .
The activity will be held simultaneously at the 24 Municipal Sports Centers participating in the initiative, allowing people from any neighborhood in the city to take part.
Those who are unable to attend in person have the option of joining in through Dorsal 0, a way to financially support the cause without having to pedal.
The Tour arrives in Catalonia in July
Cycling Solidari is part of the program leading up to the Grand Départ, the first three stages of which will take place in Catalonia on July 4, 5, and 6, 2026.
This is the 113th edition of the Tour de France, a fact that the event pays tribute to with exactly 113 stationary bikes at Moll de la Marina.
