Barcelona has a long tradition of singing, dancing and playing for many decades. In its streets, especially in the historic center, there are plenty of good places to enjoy a good show of authentic flamenco.
In these tablaos we can enjoy shows by new and more established artists, as well as extend the evening with a good dinner of local cuisine or other activities related to flamenco. Here we bring you five tablaos in Barcelona that are a sure value to live flamenco.
Tarantos
To this day, the oldest tablao in Barcelona (active and non-stop since 1963), an emblematic place through which great flamenco figures have passed, such as Antonio Gades or Maruja Garrido, the great star of the place in the 70s. Every day without exception it continues to offer live shows of 40 minutes with top artists, in different time slots, so that we can enjoy flamenco before or after dinner (which we can do for an extra in a restaurant next to Tarantos).

In addition, they offer an option with dinner after the show in their facilities, as well as workshops (for groups and previous reservation).

They offer several passes daily and have their own restaurant to enjoy delicacies of Catalan and Spanish gastronomy.

Set in a classic Andalusian corrala, this tablao offers two dinner show sessions daily as well as the possibility of having an aperitif in its interior Cordovan courtyard. Although it is in the heart of Barcelona, it is inevitable to be transported to Andalusia once we cross its door.
