The Jury Experience comes to Barcelona with an immersive court case, a defendant and a verdict to be determined… by you. What is The Jury Experience?
The Jury Experience is to experience a live court case without having to have studied law. An immersive trial in which the actors will make you witness (and above all judge) the tug-of-war of the lawyers, the versions that seem to blur with every question and the evidence that will challenge your convictions. Unexpected twists, moral dilemmas and, in the end, a decision: yours and that of the other judges, who will decide the final verdict.
What is the trial about?
Technology is advancing by leaps and bounds and artificial intelligence seems to be designed to make our lives easier and help us in any situation? isn’t it? But what if something goes wrong, what if a driverless car controlled by AI causes a fatal accident? The responsible party would be… The company that devised the software, the government that approved its circulation, the humans involved, would it make any difference to know the number of possible victims with the real ones? It could have been anyone, but you have to deliberate whether the accused is that someone. And you are the one to decide.
