A Mercadoria, one of the largest outlets of Portuguese ceramics by weight, has arrived in Barcelona, after Madrid, A Coruña, Gijón, Valencia, y Malaga the brand has opted for a macro-ship in Polinyà, 20 minutes from the center of Barcelona, to land in Catalonia.
The space, 500m2 of exhibition and sales for both professionals and individuals, joins 11 other stores that the brand has throughout the peninsula.
The brand, born in Galicia, has caused a furor since its creation, with a concept that seeks to create tableware with unique pieces where the plates by weight stand out, which can be purchased and combined freely from 1.90€ per kilo. The brand works with production surpluses or leftover stock and also offers different Portuguese products, such as preserves, soaps, wines and other regional items.
These prices are possible due to the high product rotation, since every 15 days they receive a truck with new merchandise and they publish its arrival in their social networks; @amercadoria_outlet, the great showcase of the brand, in which they also show novelties and possible combinations, with the models they have.
With a total of 10 stores throughout Spain, A Mercadoria’s business has been all the rage in the last 12 months. The macro warehouse will be open to the public during regular hours from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A growing trend
Portuguese ceramics was an explosion that, although it is already a trend a bit 2023, is still going on.
