On November 24, the Palau de la Música Catalana will open its doors to the public on a special day to visit this iconic building for the symbolic price of just 1 euro.
This day, which will take place only from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., has a double objective: to bring modernist architecture to all citizens and raise funds for Palau Vincles, a social project that promotes the inclusion of more than 800 children in vulnerable situations through choral singing.
Those who get tickets will be able to access spaces such as the Concert Hall, presided by the majestic organ and its spectacular central skylight, the Lluís Millet Hall, from where you can access the balcony with its characteristic columned garden or the Plaza del Palau, where a piano loaned by the International Music Competition Maria Canals will be installed, allowing visitors to become performers for a day.
How to get tickets for 1 € for the Palau de la Música?
Tickets are already available on the website of the Palau de la Música Catalana. Although the minimum price is 1 euro, visitors can make donations of up to 20 euros. It is important to note that there are only 6,000 tickets available, so it is recommended to purchase them in advance through the website to avoid running out.
As part of the activities, a photo contest will be organized. Participants can post their photos on Instagram with the hashtag #PortesObertesPalau24 and mention @palaumusicacat. They must also follow the profiles of the Palau de la Música Catalana and Palau Vincles during November 24, 25 and 26. The winner will be awarded with a dinner for two at Café Palau.
