We have been waiting for months for this date and finally the day has arrived: Elefantes return to Barcelona this Sunday, November 2 to relive their most iconic album, Azul, the one with which they reached stardom in 2000. It will be at Paral-lel 62 and there are very few tickets left on sale, get them now if you don’t want to be left out of this great party.
25 years is nothing, and neither is 30. The band is just coming off their previous tour, in 2024, in which they commemorated the first 3 decades of the group, which has not stopped composing, recording albums and playing except in the period 2006-2013 when they took a break. As we can see, Elefantes love to celebrate things, and we celebrate with them concert by concert.
And while their career is plagued with successes and successes, it is fitting that they have chosen Azul for their new tour. This 13-song LP marked a turning point for the band, new sounds and a debut in the “big league”, with production by Enrique Bunbury. The 13 tracks on the album had just consolidated Elefantes’ style, with a rock sound with Anglo-Saxon influences, enveloping melodies and a stamp of their own.
The quartet formed by Shuarma (vocals and songwriting), Jordi Ramiro (drums), Julio Cascán (bass) and Álex Vivero (guitar) will give their all on November 2 at Paral-lel 62, with a devoted audience that will chant the songs from Azul, authentic hymns for the dosmilera generation, which will be the main feature of the concert setlist (where there will surely be room for surprises).
