Arab perfumes, known for their intense aromas, rococo packaging and an aesthetic reminiscent of oriental luxury, have conquered TikTok… and now also Barcelona. Elixir Perfumes, one of the brands exploiting this viral phenomenon, has opened its first physical store in the Catalan capital at Carrer de la Portaferrissa 22, Local 16A, inside Galerias Maldà.
This new space joins previous openings in Madrid, Seville, Malaga and Valencia, taking advantage of the pull of a concept that has triumphed in social networks for its aesthetics of apparent luxury.
The craze for Arabian perfumery in Barcelona

The proposal of Elixir Perfumes combines exotic fragrances made with essential oils and a presentation that catches the eye from the first glance. Many of its bottles look like something out of a jewelry store: some include LED lights, others simulate small sculptures, and the careful packaging turns each perfume into an object worthy of collection.
Although the brand has had a strong presence in the online channel, with shipments throughout Spain, the possibility of trying each fragrance in person is one of the attractions of its store in Barcelona, where they sell fragrances and air fresheners.
Among the most sought-after collections in the store are Al Jazeera, a line that includes perfumes worn by celebrities such as Rodrygo or Luka Modric, Real Madrid footballers; Swiss Arabian, fragrances inspired by different regions of the world, with scents that evoke iconic places; or Georgina Rodriguez’ s perfume, an exclusive design in the form of a handbag that has been a hit both in store and online.
There are also perfume versions of the Dubai-style viral chocolate, with pistachio and kataifi dough.
Average prices for the perfumes range from 30 to 40 euros. Those who want to explore the options before visiting the store can consult the complete catalog on the official Elixir Perfumes website.
