The night of June 23 is, for many, the most magical night of the year. Bonfires, firecrackers, coca, cava and beach parties mark the celebration of Sant Joan, and as every year, public transport in Barcelona prepares to accompany the rhythm of the festival.
Therefore, as every year or important holiday, the metro will offer uninterrupted service during the festival, 43 consecutive hours of metro to “cover” the party.
Thus, trains will run from 5 a.m. on Monday until midnight on Tuesday 24, a public holiday in Catalonia.

In addition to the metro, other public transport services are also adapted to the festival:
- TRAM (Trambaix and Trambesòs): will run all night from June 23 to 24.
- Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC): will operate until 2:00 am on Tuesday and will run again from 5:00 am, with a minimum break of three hours.
- Nitbus: will have special reinforcements between 23:00 h and 5:00 h.
- Night buses of the Generalitat: they connect with regions such as Garraf, Penedès, Vallès or Maresme, and will offer an extended service as if it were a weekend.
- Rodalies Renfe: will maintain staff reinforcements in trains and stations due to the forecast of large displacements to beaches and central areas.
