
This weekend, 70 kilometers from Barcelona, a new edition of TrufforumVic will be held, the main event in Catalonia dedicated to the truffle with workshops and tastings of this coveted fungus.
On February 8 and 9, the El Sucre fairgrounds will host a market selling classified and quality-guaranteed black truffles, with products made from truffles.
On both days there will also be truffle tasting sessions with wine, cheese and blind tasting. Tickets, between 5 and 10 euros depending on the event, can already be purchased on the Trufforum website.
In the space “La cuina de la tòfona” chefs such as Nandu Jubany, Marc Gascons or Ferran Pont will prepare dishes based on this black fungus.
In the sweet and savory tapas tasting area, during both days you can taste dishes from restaurateurs such as Mas Monells, Can Jubany, Malespina or Lluc Crusellas from 11 am to 10:30 pm (Saturday 8) and from 11 am to 2 pm (Sunday 9).
The little ones will be able to participate in workshops around the world of truffles, exhibitions and shows.
In addition, during the event will be held the contest of the “Millor Producte Trufat de Catalunya 2025”, the best truffle recipe or a popular snack for 10 euros scheduled for Sunday, February 9 from 9 to 11 am.
Dogs will also be protagonists with the Catalan Championship of Truffle Dogs, on Sunday 9 at 12:30 pm.
