Balloon Story is an exhibition made up of nearly 600,000 biodegradable balloons that recreates fun scenes that will delight children: the ocean floor, outer space, famous landmarks like the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower… The colorful rooms will enchant the little ones, who won’t stop asking us to take photos and videos to capture the moment. Plus, as the perfect finishing touch, a ball pit where they can burn off all their energy.
A workshop? A sensory escape room? A challenge? It’s hard for us to describe SENSAS in a single word, but we can definitely recommend it for groups of children after having tried it ourselves. It’s a sensory experience where, challenge by challenge, you’ll push your five senses to the limit. Right in the heart of the Eixample, at 91-93 Entença Street, the space is designed so that participants tackle six workshops and challenges that lead them to rediscover their senses in unexpected ways. From touch in complete darkness to identifying mysterious scents or overcoming visual tests, each stage is designed to challenge your abilities.
That’s exactly why SENSAS is designed to be enjoyed with friends, kids, family…and offers private booking options for groups ( from 8 to 15 people, and even up to groups of 60).
Every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the city’s Botanical Garden, you’ll find a free play area in contact with nature for children ages 3 and up. Plus, on certain weekends, free guided activities are scheduled, such as flower workshops or educational discovery sessions.

Don’t miss this interactive tour of the Born archaeological site. The tour offers a glimpse into what Barcelona was like in 1700 and uses the archaeological site to explain what life was like in the neighborhood. Tours are available in Catalan, Spanish, and English and are recommended for all ages. The tour lasts an hour and a half.
