“Barcelona amb València”. Barcelona with Valencia. This is the short and direct title of the concert that the Barcelona City Council has organized in solidarity with those affected by the Valencia hurricane.
The concert, which the City Council has defined as “unrepeatable”, will be held on November 29 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, with the intention of raising funds for the victims of the floods.
Estopa and Serrat, headliners
To do so, it will have a stellar line-up headed by Joan Manuel Serrat, who will make his return to the stage, along with Estopa, Judit Neddermann, Andrea Motis and Lucía Fumero.
Tickets will be available from November 12 at 12 noon through the concert’s official website. Prices will range from 38 to 80 euros, and all proceeds will go entirely to the municipalities affected by the DANA, channeled through the Red Cross.
For those who wish to contribute without attending the event, a “row 0” will be set up on the same website, with a symbolic price of one euro, allowing donors to specify the amount they wish to contribute.
Several associations from the music sector have collaborated in the organization , such as ARC, ASACC and APM. In addition, the artists Santi Moix and Isabel Ramoneda have designed and donated the promotional poster for the event.
Som València, the other great solidarity concert
Together with Som València, the cycle of solidarity concerts organized in dozens of venues in Spain, this is the other great initiative of the music sector to support the victims of Valencia.
In Barcelona the concerts will take place from November 11 to 13, but there will also be performances in cities such as Burgos, Madrid, Lleida, Donosti, Girona, Murcia, Vic, Granada, Manresa and others to be confirmed.
