“El comer y el rascar, todo es empezar”, besides being one of the wisest phrases of the Spanish proverb, is perfect to introduce the topic of the best free buffets in Barcelona. Here we bring you the most varied list you can find, where Bolivian, Catalan, Japanese and Italian food will come to you on a conveyor belt or spread out on the bar of one of the most luxurious hotels in Barcelona.
The free buffets are a temple to gluttony, gluttony and the pleasure of scrounging without feeling guilty. Before continuing with this article and before you fall into the temptation of going to one of these buffets , it is advisable that you listen to us with the following.
That of arriving without breakfast at a buffet to be hungrier and take better advantage of the investment is a popular belief without scientific basis: you eat faster, you fill up sooner and you hardly taste. Therefore, before going to one of the restaurants, we recommend that you at least have breakfast, so that you don’t eat like an animal and the experience is over before you want it to be. That said, here is the list:
Da Me, for pizza lovers
Crispy dough, burrata cheese and lots of basil. Everything we expect from a good stone oven pizza. Well, on Tuesday nights in Barcelona there is a place that can serve you this and other endless pizzas. It is Da Me Pizza, and as its name suggests, it is for demanding customers.
Located in the neighborhood of La Prosperitat and with home service (although in this option you can not order as a buffet), you will want to forget the garlic bread and pasta to devote body and soul to medium pizzas of up to 10 types.

17€, drinks not included.
KATA, Spanish food buffet on a rotating belt.
The purpose of the owners of this restaurant has always been the same from the beginning: to make gastronomy accessible to everyone. Apart from a catering service and one of the most economical (and original) menus of the day, they also have a free buffet on a conveyor belt. Vegan and vegetarian options, fusion, international and national food are some of the proposals. Apart from the free buffet, daily dishes of the day costing between €4.5 and €5.5 are offered, and for the hungriest, there is a four-course menu with a drink for €14. They also have a picnic menu, where for 10€ you get everything you need for the park.

Unlimited buffet + a drink for 19€.
Endless fries and chicken wings: Dr. Beer & Mr. Fried
We start badly, because these are not buffets, but open bars. By this we mean these two places where you can only eat one dish, but you can do it endlessly. First of all, we are talking about Papanato fries, where every Tuesday and Wednesday for 9,9€ you can eat all the fries you want, choosing from a lot of different varieties. They are in Av. Joan de Borbó, 65 and open every day with non stop cuisine, potatoes and barbecue (of which they also do buffet on Thursdays and Fridays).
đź“Ť Av. Joan de BorbĂł, 65.
💸 9,90€.
Second, we have Dr. Beer & Mr. Fried’s chicken wings, which for €8.90, you can eat unlimited with their homemade sauces and craft beers. The offer is available on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at their premises at 33 Riera Alta Street, and if you also want to try other items from their menu, don’t miss their burger on Thursdays.

💸 8,90€.
WOK DAO, a buffet of Asian and Mediterranean food.
đź“Ť C. de Villarroel, 1.
💸25,9€, drinks not included.
La Buena Mesa, the only free buffet of Bolivian food.
It is a brasserie and free buffet of Bolivian food that aims to satisfy the craving for exploration of lovers of good food. A good opportunity -if you have never tried it before- to eat for the first time dishes such as duck and chicken majadito, chicken escabeche, peanut soup or chicken broaster.
đź“ŤAvinguda Ventura Gassol, 10, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
M-F for 9,95 €, S-D for 16,95 €. Drinks included.
Luxury Brunch at the Intercontinental Hotel
The best thing about going on a trip (leaving aside the culture, the art, the people, blah blah blah…) is the hotel’s breakfast buffet. Can you imagine reliving that experience without having to stay at the hotel? The breakfast brunch at the Arrel restaurant, in the Intercontinental Hotel, brings you closer to that feeling.
The first floor of this hotel hosts every first and third Sunday of the month a haute cuisine hotel brunch, where, upon entering, a small gastro dream unfolds from which you do not want to wake up. On the table there is a menu to orient yourself in the abundance and a cocktail that announces the free bar of cocktails, drinks and food that lies ahead, where cold meats, cheeses, preserves and cold dishes predict the beginning of the feast.
đź“ŤAv. de Rius i Taulet, 1-3.
💸Brunch for one €65.
Tou Kichi Rou, a la carte buffet in Les Corts
This Japanese restaurant takes care to the smallest detail, such as the presentation of the dishes and the service at the table. There is no lack of people who elevate it to the category of “best Japanese buffet in Barcelona”. And it is normal or, at least, logical and plausible for those who have been there. Those who have been will know that you order by rounds and that if you leave something on your plate you are charged a penalty of three euros.
đź“ŤAvinguda Diagonal, 493.
💸12,5€ per person. Drinks not included.
Guanabara by Rodizio, paradise for carnivores.
Rodizio is a typical Brazilian free buffet format in which different grilled meats are prepared and diners, paying a fixed price, can help themselves as much as they like. We understand that it was the first restaurant of its kind in Barcelona and not only has a wide variety of meat, but also other dishes such as sushi, salads and various fried foods.
đź“Ť Consell de Cent, 403.
Monday to Friday 25€ and weekends and holidays 30€.
LifeStyle Brunch, the unlimited brunch at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Even if you are not traveling, you can give yourself the precious whim of going to brunch, but this time, unlimited. Spice up your Sundays with a welcome drink and a wide variety of hot, cold, sweet and savory dishes. All this in an exclusive building: the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower Hotel. A sophisticated space as well as a unique gastronomic offer, everything we can ask from a buffet!
đź“Ť Avinguda de la Granvia de l’Hospitalet, 144.
đź’¸ 49,90 euros per person.
Kaitenshushi He, where your dishes come to you on a conveyor belt.
It is surprising how a relatively normal buffet can multiply its appeal when the dishes come to you transported by a mechanical conveyor belt. So is this Asian buffet, which features sushi, noodles, meats in sauce and a long list of dishes, the variety of which increases on weekends. On weekdays the price per person is 15 euros. On weekends it increases to 18.9 euros. A sufficiently accessible option to get your fill of Japanese food.
đź“Ť Carrer de Pau Claris, 72.
15 euros per person from Monday to Friday and 18 euros on weekends and holidays.
Buffet del Majestic. The best buffet… breakfast buffet
Nandu Jubany, media star of Catalan cuisine, cooks breakfast for you. This is the proposal of the Majestic’s brunch, an idea that, already from the name, promises luxury. And although it is not cheap, it is not inaccessible either: for 37 euros, the price for non-guests, one can change the usual schedule of consumption of haute cuisine to move it to the morning. The awards already warn: best hotel breakfast in 2018.
The start is as you expect, with a glass of Möet Chandon. And from here to heaven. The diner can start strolling through the hot and cold stations, where signature salads, seafood, cured meats, cheeses from various origins, fancy pastries or a showcooking of hot and more elaborate dishes, such as the famous Nandu cannelloni, accumulate. The experience, as I said, is a luxury that you can afford once in a lifetime to feel like a privileged foreigner in your own city.
đź“Ť Hotel Majestic. Pg. de GrĂ cia, 68.
37€ per person.
Les Grands Buffets, a trip to Ratatouille
If you’ve been wondering all this list why in the headline we were talking about Barcelona and surroundings, here’s the answer: Les Grands Buffets is two and a half hours away from Barcelona, but the excursion is worth it.
It is the best buffet in the world. French haute cuisine in vein, in lungs and stomach. They have spoken of it in terms of an orgy for the palate: a steak tartar to cry over, an incredible foie gras and a selection of 11 cheeses that you won’t be able to finish.
📍 Espace de Liberté, Rond Point de la Liberté, Narbonne.
💸52,90€. Children free.
Hydrate buffet at Muerde la Pasta
What can we say, if we were to put together all the star dishes of Italian cuisine, we’d have bingo at Muerde la Pasta. With two locations in CornellĂ , this pasta and pizza buffet is one of the most popular not only in Catalonia, but in Spain as a whole. Because yes, it’s a franchise, but it has to be really bad pasta for it not to be worth going on a day when dehydration and lack of electrolytes after a night out take over your body and soul.
đź“ŤAv. Baix Llobregat, Local 18-19-20.
All inclusive, 15€. Only pizza buffet 12€.
Sumo Glòries
We are not the biggest fans of food in the food courts of shopping malls, nor, necessarily, of sushi buffets, where we often eat rice that has been cooked for three weeks. But at Sumo, things are somewhat different, and if we overcome our initial reservations to go down to the basement of the Glòries shopping mall, we find a Japanese buffet that surprises.
The chain, which has several locations in Madrid, debuts in Barcelona with a concept of buffet a la carte, where you order by the screen choosing from over 100 dishes that are more careful than usual. Goodbye to the suhis with a thousand sauces, here there are good simple nigiris (others more elevated with foie or roe) and tartares and stir-fries that raise the usual average and make the excursion worthwhile.
📍 Food court of the Glòries Westfield shopping center, Avinguda Diagonal, 208, 08018 Barcelona.
đź’¸15.5 midday weekdays; ÂŁ19.95 weekday evenings; ÂŁ20.95 weekend evenings
Miss Korea, free Korean food buffet in Sant Boi
Miss Korea is in Sant Boi, about 15 kilometers from Barcelona, but is making the same noise as if it were in the middle of Plaça Catalunya thanks to a claim impossible to ignore: unlimited free buffet of Korean cuisine. So, once you get past the long lines every weekend, you’ll find giant pots of bibimbap, bulgogi or kimchi ready for you to repeat again and again.
Of course, you can not leave without trying the two specialties: the Korean fried chicken, one of the most popular in the world, and, obviously, its barbecue, which offers all meats, seafood and vegetables also in unlimited format for you to cook them on the grill in the center of the table.

Tayta, free buffet of Peruvian food
An endless supply of ceviche. For us, we would not need more claim to go to Tayta, the first free buffet of Peruvian food in Barcelona, but in case you need it, we tell you that many of the great dishes of the cuisine of the Andean country are here in unlimited format.
Ceviche, of course, but also aji de gallina, anticuchos, arroz chaufa? Every Saturday and Sunday (during the week they have a regular menu), for 29.90 you can immerse yourself in Peruvian gastronomy, with desserts and unlimited drinks included in the pack.

The Mexican restaurant Anormal Food (C/ Balmes, 440) in Barcelona, offers its customers the opportunity to enjoy an open taco bar for less than 13 euros. This service is available every Monday, except holidays, for a price of only 12.95 euros per person.
They offer a wide variety of tacos ranging from their famous Carne Mechá or Cochinita Kill Bill to vegetarian options to satisfy all diners. Regular taco prices vary between six and nine euros per three units. In addition, the Rasta Gamba, Carnitas de Cerdinxi and Tinga tu Pollo stand out among its flavors.
