So if the beach is far from home, you don’t like the sand or you prefer a place to cool off a little less crowded, we bring you our favorite pools in the city so you can cool off and take a dip.
Municipal Olympic diving pools
This is probably one of the most famous pools in the city, since many movies have been filmed from here. Its waters are very deep, as they were built during the Olympics to host the jumping competitions.
In addition, they are located in the heart of Montjuïc and offer a panoramic view of Barcelona.

Can Caralleu, swimming in the Collserola foothills
At the foot of Collserola, with privileged views of the city, we find the Can Carelleu swimming pool. During the summer season it becomes an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lawns, from which to spend a relaxing afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Can Dragó lake, the Meridiana lagoon
It is a huge artificial lake located in the Nou Barris neighborhood. It is the largest swimming pool in the city and is part of a sports complex with more than 15,000 square meters. It is ideal to go with the whole family as it is shallow and has plenty of space around you to be with towels and all the summer camp.

Club de Natació Atlètic-Barceloneta, the most authentic club with a swimming pool right on the beach
Located in the Plaza del Mar, bathing in one of its pools is a scandal for the eyes because right in front you have the sea. This sports complex has a luxury solarium, sunbeds and two open-air pools, as well as the old Sant Sebastià baths. It is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 11 pm; Saturdays, from 7 am to 11 pm; Sundays and holidays, from 8 am to 8 pm.

Cooperativa d’Aigües, swimming among the trees of La Floresta
If you feel like disconnecting from the city but without having to go far away, you can take the train up to La Floresta, about 20-25 minutes from the center. These pools are ideal for family or friends. It is open from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 8 pm; Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 am to 7.30 pm.

Parc dels Torrents, in Esplugues de Llobregat
A few minutes from Barcelona by Tram, we find the swimming pools of Parc dels Torrents in Esplugues. It is an open space with two outdoor pools, one 800 square meters and the other 100 square meters, so you will have plenty of room to swim, play and dive.

The Creueta del Coll lake pool
In the district of Gràcia is one of the most coveted bathing places of the Barcelonians, the bathing area with swimming pool of the Creueta del Coll park lake. It is a space, of 2,100 m2 that has a capacity of 800 people.
This pool is open daily, with hours between 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekends
