All the neighborhood carnivals of Barcelona 2025: rúas, dates, routes…

And although Barcelona celebrates its big Carnival party in the city center, the neighborhoods also dress up, and all districts will host their own rúas, arrivals of Carnestoltes or burials of the sardine of proximity so that neighbors can see them from the balcony.

So, we tell you here where, when and how will be the neighborhood rúas for Carnival 2025 in Barcelona so you do not miss a single one.

Ciutat Vella

• Casc Antic: Children’s Carnival. Thursday, February 27. 17.15 h. Starting at the convent of Sant Agustí and ending at the Plaza del Pou de la Figuera. Parade and show.
• Gòtic: Children’s Carnival. Friday, February 28th. 17.30 h. Starting at Plaça del Rei and ending at Plaça de la Mercè.
• Raval: Ravalstoltada. Friday, February 28th. 18 h. Starting at Rambla del Raval and ending at Plaça de Folch i Torres.
• Barceloneta:
  • Carnavalada. Sunday, March 9th. 11 a.m. Start at Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta and end at Plaça del Poeta Boscà.
  • Burial of the sardine. Wednesday, March 5th. 17.30 h. Starting at Plaça de la Barceloneta and ending at Sant Miquel beach.

Eixample

• Dreta de l’Eixample: 6th Rúa de Carnestoltes. Friday, February 28th. 17 h. Route: Pla’s passage, Mercat de la Concepció, Girona street, Diagonal and Bruc street.
• Fort Pienc: Carnival parade. Saturday, March 1st. 17 h. Start and end at Plaça del Fort Pienc. Chocolatada.

Sants-Montjuïc

• Sants:
  • Arrival of Sa Majestat Carnestoltes. Thursday, 27th February. 17.15 h. Bonet i Muixí Square and Auditori de les Cotxeres de Sants.
  • Carnival in family. Saturday, March 1st. 11 h. Cotxeres de Sants. Departure of the Rei Carnestoltes to the parc de l’Espanya Industrial.
  • Carnival parade of Sants, Hostafrancs and la Bordeta. Saturday, March 1st. 16.30 h. Carrer de Sants i de la Creu Coberta.
  • Burial of Sa Majestat Carnestoltes. Wednesday, 5th March. 18.30 h. Auditori de les Cotxeres de Sants. Funeral procession to Bonet i Muixí square and popular sardinada.

• Poble-sec: Carnival parade. Friday, February 28th. 17 h. Starting at Sortidor square and ending at Santa Madrona square. Chocolate, costume contest and music.
• La Marina: Children’s Carnival. Saturday, March 1st. 11 h. Jardins de Can Farrero. Parade and dance with the company El Gripau Blau (12.30 h).

Sarrià-Sant Gervasi

• Sarrià:
  • Dijous Gras and arrival of Queen Carnestoltes. Thursday, February 27th. 17 h. Can Fàbregas and rúa to Casa Orlandai. Snack with sausage and omelette contest.
  • Carnival parade and dance of comparsas. Friday, February 28th. 17 h. Starting at the Plaza de la Vila de Sarrià and ending at the Centre Cívic Casa Orlandai. Concert at the end.
  • Burial of the sardine. Wednesday, March 5th. 18.30 h. Gardens of the Centre Cívic Sarrià. Procession through the streets of Sarrià and cremation in Josep Obiols square.

• Vallvidrera: Carnival in the mountain. Saturday, March 1st. 10 h. Starting at Pep Ventura square and ending at the Centre Cívic Vallvidrera. Parade, costume contest and chocolate.

Les Corts

• Les Corts:
  • Arrival of Queen Carnestoltes. Friday, February 28th. 16.30 h. Comas Square.
  • Carnival parade. Saturday, March 1st. 16.30 h. Starting at Comas square and ending at Can Rosés square. Show, chocolate and awards ceremony.
  • Burial of the sardine and fire show. Wednesday, March 5th. 20 h. Comas Square.

Gràcia

• Village of Gràcia:
  • Dijous Gras in the gardens of Manuel Torrente. Thursday, February 27th. From 16 to 23 h. Omelette and costume contest, ranch dinner, live music and arrival of the Carnestoltes queen.
  • Carnival parade. Saturday, March 1. 18 h. Starting at Gran de Gràcia and ending at Plaça de la Vila.

• El Coll: Carnafoc. Saturday, 1st March. 19.45 h. Start at Avinguda de la Mare de Déu del Coll and end at Salvador Allende square. Fireworks show (21 h).

Sant Andreu

• Sant Andreu de Palomar:
  • Arrival of the Rei Carnestoltes. Thursday, 27th February. 17.30 h. Starting at Joan Torras street and ending at Comerç square.
  • 21st Carnival parade. Sunday, 2nd March. 11 h. Start at Fabra i Puig and end at Can Fabra square.
  • Burial of the sardine. Wednesday, March 5th. 17.30 h. Orfila Square. Dramatized representation of the funeral.

• Bon Pastor: Rúa and Carnestoltes party. Saturday, 1st March. 17 h. Starting in the gardens of Isabel Domínguez Paniagua and ending at the old Mercedes factory.
• La Sagrera: Carnival parade. Saturday, 1st March. 16.45 h. Starting at the Mercat de Felip II and ending at the Jardins d’Elx square.
• Trinitat Vella: Carnival parade. Saturday, 1st March. 18.30 h. Starting at Josep Andreu i Abelló square and ending at Trinitat square.
• Congrés-Indians: Rúa de Carnestoltes. Sunday, 2nd March. 11.30 h. Starting at Rom Cremat square and ending at Congrés Eucarístic square.

Horta-Guinardó

  • Rúa de Carnestoltes. Saturday, 1st March. 17.15 h. Starting at the Mirador d’Horta and ending at the parc de les Rieres d’Horta.

• Sant Genís dels Agudells: Arribada del Rei Carnestoltes. Friday, February 28th. 17.30 h. Meguidó Square. Cercavila, costume contest and chocolate.
• La Teixonera: Carnival parade. Saturday, March 1st. 11 a.m. Starting at Centre Cívic Teixonera and ending at Vall d’Hebron square.

• Poblenou: Carnival parade in Poblenou. Saturday, March 1st. 16 h. Starting at Fabra i Puig and ending at Can Fabra square.
