A few minutes from Barcelona and with the Mediterranean as a backdrop, Castelldefels becomes this weekend the epicenter of the seafood festival with the celebration of the Sea Market, one of the most anticipated events of the summer in the Baix Llobregat. From July 11 to 13, the promenade is transformed into a vibrant space that mixes tradition, music, crafts and activities for all audiences.
As part of the Fiestas del Mar, the market has become an unmissable event: more than 100 local food and craft stalls, family workshops, parades, concerts and shows with a Mediterranean flavour. All this in a unique setting facing the sea and with free admission.
So, you can take advantage of the visit to approach the Castell de Castelldefels, the Olympic Canal or the historic center of the town, which is also worth a weekend getaway.
