Barcelona is preparing for a day of protests on Saturday, February 7. The Catalan National Assembly (ANC) and the Council of the Republic have called for a large demonstration that will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The aim of the demonstration, whose slogan is “Prou!” (Enough!), is to denounce what the organizations describe as an unsustainable deterioration of basic services in Catalonia, with particular reference to the transport network and the healthcare system.
Public discontent has grown in recent weeks following repeated incidents on the Rodalies service, which have affected thousands of daily users. The organizers argue that the lack of investment and the current management of basic infrastructure have reached a critical point, prompting this call for citizen mobilization to demand immediate and structural improvements.
