On July 17 and 18, the skies over Barcelona will light up thanks to a thousand drones forming beautiful patterns. Meanwhile, on the ground, delightful music will accompany the visual spectacle. What’s happening is called the DroneArt Show, a franchise of shows that can be seen in cities around the world and which, during that weekend, will host the DroneArt Fest—a themed weekend featuring two different shows: on Friday, DroneArtShow: Harry Potter™; on Saturday, DroneArt Show: Four Seasons.
Both shows, developed by Nova Sky Stories, combine cutting-edge technology with art and music and take place outdoors. In Barcelona, with the typical July sea breeze in the background, it strikes us as a great family outing for a summer night. Plus, if you buy tickets for one of the shows, you’ll get the other one at a 25% discount. You’ll receive the discount code for the second show after purchasing the first.
What can you expect from the two DroneArt Show performances?

The DroneArt Show’s technology consists of two fleets of drones that come together in the sky to form all kinds of shapes in a variety of colors. With two fleets available, the show never stops: while one recharges its battery, the other keeps flying.
Meanwhile, on the ground, the audience enjoys the visual show while listening to high-quality music. Additionally, before the show, they can eat and drink right at Parc del Fòrum, which will feature a variety of food trucks at both events.
DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™

Friday, July 17, is the day of the DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™. 1,200 drones will recreate scenes from the film series while the soundtrack plays on the ground. At key moments, an electric violinist will accompany the orchestral music, and attendees will participate with LED bracelets that light up in sync with the show.
The gates of Parc del Fòrum will open at 8:00 p.m. so you can eat and drink on the grounds and buy merchandise from the series. The show will begin at 10:00 p.m., lasts one hour, and includes an intermission.
DroneArt Show: Four Seasons

On Saturday, July 18, it’s time for the classical rhythms of DroneArt Show: Four Seasons. On this occasion, 1,000 drones will fill the sky, forming beautiful abstract or natural figures (animals, flowers…). The repertoire will feature classical pieces such as Vivaldi’sThe Four Seasons and N. Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, among others, performed by a string quartet. Discover the full program here.
The gates of Parc del Fòrum will open at 8:00 p.m. so you can enjoy the food trucks. The show will begin at 10:00 p.m. and lasts 65 minutes without an intermission.
