Years ago, it made no sense to visit a ski resort in the summer, but times have changed, and many now offer activities to enjoy the mountains even when temperatures are high.
Pirineu365 has unveiled its summer season with a wide range of plans focused primarily on nature, sports, and leisure. The resorts in the Catalan Pyrenees will offer nearly 174 kilometers of hiking and trail running routes, 74 outdoor sports activities, 14 dining options, and rides on 7 chairlifts.
La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, and Boí Taüll will be open throughout the month of August with new features such as those mentioned above or, in the case of the Boí Taüll resort, the debut of Catalonia’s longest double zip line, stretching 1 kilometer.

Boí Taüll
This ski resort has added a double zip line that’s one kilometer long and has a vertical drop of more than 100 meters, making it the longest zip line in the entire region.
In addition, the Vaques chairlift now runs further to the Cap de Ginebrell viewpoint, with improvements to the infrastructure.
La Molina
New cross-country trails and three children’s bike circuits with conveyor belts have been installed. The Cadí-Moixeró gondola station, at an altitude of over 2,500 meters, has also reopened , and has unveiled a new culinary offering at the mountain refuge.
Vall de Núria
The Mirador del Llac has opened, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the views or photograph the scenery. In addition, investments have been made to expand family-friendly activities: boats and canoes on the lake, mini-golf, rides on the Cremallera train, and a playground for the little ones.
Vallter
Vallter has made a special investment in children’s activities: a new circuit with electric motorcycles, orienteering games, and a scavenger hunt. In addition, a new exhibition space has opened at the source of the Ter River, and evening astronomy activities and photography workshops have been added.
