The prestigious international agency Elite Models is organizing a talent scouting event this coming Saturday, May 16, in Barcelona. The event will take place in the Central Plaza of the Arenas de Barcelona shopping center, located in Plaza de España, where a dedicated space will be set up to welcome applicants.
This initiative, now in its second year, aims to bring the fashion industry closer to the public in an inclusive way. The selection process will be divided into two time slots: in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., allowing anyone interested to come and participate in the process.
No restrictions on participation
One of the main features of this call for applicants is its open nature. The organizers have confirmed that both men and women may apply without any restrictions based on age or height. Those wishing to try their luck can register directly at the shopping center, where they will also undergo a live photo shoot as part of the casting process.
Beyond the professional opportunity, the event will offer benefits to the first participants. The first 250 people to register will receive a complimentary canvas bag containing discounts and free passes for various cultural activities located in the Cúpula space, such as the Antarctica immersive experience and exhibits on the Titanic and the Colosseum.
In addition, throughout Saturday, Plaza Central will feature displays showcasing various style proposals from brands such as Desigual, Mango, Mango Man, and Brighty & Co. Attendees will be able to actively participate by voting for their favorite outfit using a QR code.
This interaction comes with a prize: five complete “outfits, “ with an estimated value of 150 euros each, will be raffled off among all those who cast their vote. The names of the winners will be announced on Monday, May 18.
