Intense and sudden downpour in Barcelona on Friday, with rains that have watered with unexpected force the city. March is already the rainiest month in many years in the city and the locals look at their London sky wondering when it will stop raining.
That is why we have gone to Meteocat to consult the answer to this question and try to find out when this episode of rain will stop.
What day will the rains in Barcelona start to subside?
The squall ‘Martinho’ has intensely affected much of Spain, including Catalonia, and has left a front that has swept hard Condal City in the morning of March 21. However, in the afternoon it had already subsided and the sky appeared clear, even allowing the sun to be seen at some points.
According to Meteocat forecasts, precipitation in Barcelona is expected to decrease progressively from Saturday, March 22, with morning showers and partly clear skies in the afternoon.
On Sunday there could be showers in the morning and clearer skies in the afternoon, with momentary appearances of the sun, closing a weekend marked by instability.
Thus, it will not be until Monday, March 24 that the weather will begin to stabilize, with intervals of clouds and sunshine but a much lower probability of rain. The forecasts are not yet clear, but it is expected that throughout the following week this trend towards stabilization of the weather will continue.
As always, it is advisable to keep an eye on Meteocat forecasts and warnings to be informed of the latest forecasts.
