A truckload of dog and cat food will arrive in Barcelona in the next few days. Starting March 10, Lidl’s “Pet Truck” will deliver 240,000 samples of its new range of Orlando and Coshida wet food to different cities in Spain.
In Barcelona, the free distribution will take place until March 15 at the following points: Parc de Montjuïc, Parc de Can Dragó, Parc de la Pegaso, Playa de la Barceloneta, Parc Central del Nou Barris, Parc del Turó de la Peira, Parc de Diagonal Mar, Parc de la Ciutadella and Parc de la Estación del Norte.
These foods will be distributed in sustainable packaging made from recycled and FSC-certified cardboard, in collaboration with Tetra Pak.
Orlando and Coshida’s new range of wet food for dogs and cats includes snacks and pâtés developed by veterinary experts. “They are made with local, fresh and 100% natural ingredients that are cooked in their juice to better preserve their nutrients,” explains Lidl in a statement.
