Christmas has come early in Barcelona and has landed in style in the heart of the Eixample. CASA SEAT, the space located at the intersection of Paseo de Gràcia and Diagonal, has once again teamed up with the sweet and creative universe of Rocambolesc, the ice cream parlor of the three Michelin-starred chef Jordi Roca, to inaugurate its now legendary “Magic Days”. This experience, which runs from November 22 to January 5, has established itself as one of the essential events of the festive season, offering a family plan, free and full of surprises.
In this edition, the proposal celebrates five years of CASA SEAT with a renewed and much more interactive experience. The space has been transformed into a “Magic Station” that invites visitors to embark on an unforgettable journey. The star route is the “Magic Express”, a train that takes children and not so children through three themed worlds that honor the Christmas illusion: from the magic station at the beginning, through the Magic North Pole on the top floor, to the Portal of the Magic Workshops on the first floor.
A journey with a stop at the North Pole and Jordi Roca’s sweet touch.
This year’s ambitious scenography includes surprising elements such as a giant snowman and the Rocanàs, a special vehicle that is part of the Rocambolesc universe. In addition, the space displays a four-meter tree crowned with a replica of the twelve-pointed star designed by Gaudí for the Sagrada Familia, the same one that illuminates the 12-meter outdoor tree in the Jardinets de Gràcia, thus reinforcing the link with the city and its architecture.
Beyond the immersive tour, the event features activities designed for the whole family. On weekends and special days, the little ones can enjoy a workshop of cookies and crafts. Of course, to taste or take a little piece of the magic of Christmas home, the CASA SEAT restaurant offers a gastronomic area where you can find the emblematic products of Rocambolesc, from its ice cream creations to the churros with chocolate or the special nougats of Jordi Roca.
As is tradition, the visit to the Magic North Pole includes the chance to meet the protagonists of Christmas. Santa Claus will be collecting children’s letters at specific times from December 1 to 24. From December 27 to January 5, the baton will be taken over by a Wise Man and his Royal Page, ready to listen to the wishes of the end of the year.
Fever for free tickets
The success of the “Magic Days” is unquestionable. Despite being a free event, access requires prior reservation and demand has exceeded all expectations. According to internal sources and press releases, more than 70,000 tickets were booked even before the inauguration, and more than 30,000 people visited the space in the first week alone, consolidating the initiative as a mass phenomenon in Barcelona.
Tickets are released in a staggered manner on the CASA SEAT website, so if you have missed out on yours, the last chance to get passes is the batch of reservations published on December 1 at 11:00 am, covering the dates from December 29 to January 5. Please note that if you don’t get a Magic Express ticket, you can still access the restaurant to taste Rocambolesc products and churros with chocolate without a reservation.
