No one ever said that reaching the top of world soccer would be easy, but the speed with which Lamine Yamal has become one of the best players on the planet suggests otherwise. The young Barcelona winger has shown that he knows how to handle the “star” label just as well on and off the field: yacht vacations, luxury clothing, and, for the past few months, an incredible mansion valued at 11 million euros that was once home to two other stars, Shakira and Gerard Piqué.
In just two years, the Catalan soccer player has gone from living in Rocafonda—one of the country’s most working-class neighborhoods—to owning a property spanning more than 3,800 square meters in Ciudad Diagonal, one of Barcelona’s most exclusive areas. Furthermore, its proximity to the club’s training facility (just a 14-minute drive away) makes it the ideal place for Barça players, and many of them live there.
The player finalized the purchase in October 2025 for approximately 10.5 million euros, and the complex includes a five-story mansion (three above ground and two underground), a wine cellar, a party room, a gym, a paddle tennis court, a private soccer field, a movie theater, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool with a waterfall, and even a recording studio. Furthermore, thanks to its location, the interior windows and the garden offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Barcelona.
The building features a contemporary, minimalist architectural style, where spaciousness and natural light take center stage. It is also a space offering maximum privacy and tranquility, shielded from outside eyes thanks to its architecture and the hedges surrounding the property—a feature that is absolutely essential for a high-profile figure who is hounded by cameras wherever he goes.
Shortly after purchasing it, the soccer player showed how he was making the house his own, opening a small “museum” showcasing his most important individual and team awards, such as the European Championship, the Golden Boy, and, most recently, the 2026 World Cup.
