500 drones and fireworks: what will the New Year’s Eve show be like?
As every year, the show wants to innovate to be more spectacular. These are the main details of the show:
- An illuminated sky with more than 500 drones and fireworks: Technology and tradition will combine to create an unprecedented light show.
- A monumental scenography: The world-renowned company Groupe F, directed by Christophe Berthonneau, will be in charge of transforming Avenue Maria Cristina into a stage full of magic. Groupe F, a company known for its international light, fire and drone shows, was already in charge of last year’s celebration in Barcelona.
- Love as a common thread: This year, the theme of the show will revolve around the different ways of understanding love: from love for nature to love for the city.
- A show without the Magic Fountain: Although the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc will remain inactive due to repair works (and possibly return in summer), the event will not lose its essence or spectacularity.
