For thirty years, La Trona Antiques has been doing what few others do: scouring Spain in search of furniture that was once part of workshops, factories, and stores, and bringing it back to life with their own hands and using materials that respect its history.
The business is based in Monistrol de Montserrat, in the Puig i Font Industrial Park, and from there it manages a catalog that reaches collectors, interior designers, and private individuals in Spain, France, and Portugal.

The workshop specializes in technical and professional furniture: restored carpenter’s benches, antique commercial filing cabinets, and auxiliary furniture from traditional workshops are just some of the pieces that can be found in its warehouse.
The collection spans from the mid-19th century to the 1950s and 1960s, a time period that encompasses a significant portion of contemporary Spain’s industrial and artisanal heritage.
The restoration process is carried out entirely by hand at the Monistrol facility. The workshop works exclusively with reclaimed wood and natural materials, a choice that reflects the goal of preserving the patina and original condition of each piece.
It is not, therefore, a restoration that seeks to make the objects look new again, but rather to preserve their character and history without masking the passage of time.
The collection can be viewed on their website. It features vintage exercise bikes priced at 900 euros, as well as a vintage Italian soccer jersey for 2,400 euros.
